Community Info/Flyers:

Communities that Care presents “A Conversation with Cindy Pierce” via Zoom on September 22nd from 6pm-7:30pm. Please register here. This virtual event features author, speaker, and media personality, Cindy Pierce, for an evening of education about finding balance with social media and developing healthy relationships. Cindy will explore the intersection of social media, substance use and hook-up culture through the lens of comic storytelling. If you or your child tend to favor text messaging/Snap Chat over face-to-face interaction this is a must attend event.

Additionally, THS students viewed the important film “If They Had Known” during tutorial this week. We are fortunate to provide an opportunity to parents to watch this film throughout the month of September for free. The 35-minute documentary features interviews with friends and family of DU Freshman, Clay Soper, who tragically lost his life after a night of mixing prescription pills and alcohol. Please use the following link and password to access the film.
