We have some fun things planned for our staff next week to celebrate Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week at TES.

Monday is a special day to create flower bouquets on each of the teacher's desks. We will be selling flowers in front of the school for $1.00/stem. Students can buy flowers to give to their teacher(s). The money collected will be used to offset the cost of the flowers, with the rest being donated by Bridal Veil Floral (owned by Ellison's Mom, Emily Ballou). Students can purchase multiple flowers to give to various teachers throughout the building!

We also need 5-6 parent volunteers to assist in selling the flowers at 7:55-8:15 AM on Monday morning. Please email me if you are available!

Tuesday: Sweet Treats for the Teachers

Wednesday: Notes from parents and students to the teachers!

Thursday: Fruit baskets

Friday: Any way you want to show appreciation to your child's teachers!

Our TSD Teachers and Staff are hardworking and dedicated people who go above and beyond to ensure our kids are learning, engaged, and supported in school. We are so grateful! So let's show our appreciation during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week, May 5-9.

 

The Telluride Education Foundation is asking for donations to purchase $50 Clark’s gift cards for every Teacher and Staff Member in the district. Everyone has been so appreciative of this special gift over the past few years because it's helpful for all.

As in past years, our goal is for 100 Telluride families to help us raise $10,000 to cover the cost of the gift cards. No contribution is too large or too small. We are currently almost over 30% of the way to our goal.

Our TSD Teachers and Staff go above and beyond to ensure our kids are learning, engaged, and supported in school. Let's show them our appreciation and thank you for supporting Telluride Schools!
