Weekly Communication for TES Families

May 31, 2025

PRICIPAL POST

Happy Summer to all of our Miner Bee Families! Your students came home with a Summer Learning Pack on Wednesday or Thursday of this week. I have challenged the students to read over the summer, logging their minutes. It is based on 50 days over the summer months at each of their grade levels expectations. In addition to reading, each student received a summer workbook with the challenge to complete 2 pages a day over the summer. The activities should be a review, so that students do not lose what they have learned this year! Please check it out!

I will be hosting two summer get togethers on the TES Playground with activities and a summer treat.

June 16th: Bring blankets and/or sheets to build a reading fort. We will create them on the playground. It will be so much much fun!!!
August 5th: Wear your tennis shoes, we are going to have some fun on the TES playground!! (And of course- summer treats!!!)

I hope to see many of you there! We are going to have fun! 🙂

At the end of the summer, students will turn in their Reading Logs and show their workbooks- students reaching the goal will receive a Golden Ticket to a special celebration!

TES report cards are only available virtually via PowerSchool (paper copies will not be sent home) starting around 4pm FRIDAY. For instructions on how to see them either on your computer or your phone, click on link or BUTTON below: which also includes how to interpret the grades. They will appear automatically in English or Spanish according to the language of your device.
