We have had a wonderful start to the year- our Miner Bees have come ready to learn! I have a feeling they will be a bit tired this weekend! (Teachers too!)

Congratulations to the following students for their extra work over the summer. The students listed below completed either their Reading Log and/or their Summer Workbook. (If the student has an * next to their name, they exceeded the reading requirements for their grade level) All students on this list received their Golden Ticket, with a special invite to our ice cream sundae party on the playground. It was soooo fun!! Thank you to the parents for your learning support over the summer!

Room parents help organize the class parties and help with activities as needed. It is a great way to be involved at TES!

Ipad Insurance fees have increased this year. Please have cash or a check made out to TES for $75.00. This will go to the front office.

Teacher/ classroom fees will go to the teacher.

If you have applied for Free and Reduced services, please inquire with Erika at the front office after Sept. 1st.

Please have your student(s) bring in their completed Spanish Summer Choice Boards and give them to their Spanish teachers!

These were mailed home with all DI and Traditional students in May! It was an optional activity, but we would love to honor those that completed the summer work!

Friday August 29th: Half day for students and Last day to file nomination petitions for School Board Election

Ah Haa After School Programs are live! They are offering multi-week sessions in September, October, and November for kids in grades K-8! Find the attached flyer and view the classes in more detail here! 

Additionally, Family Art Club offers options for families to participate together for accompanied kids ages 3+. Find more information here!

Families can contact Kelley at the front desk of Ah Haa for more information. 

Registration is now open for Telluride Choral Society's WinterSing 2025! Rehearsals will begin on Wednesdays starting September 10th for the Advanced Choir and on Fridays starting September 12th for the Choristers. Kids in the middle age group (6-8th grade) are encouraged to join both choirs!

This year’s theme is “Be The Light” and the kids will be singing some of your favorite holiday songs at our December concerts!

It's going to be a great season with a lot more stage time for the kids!

Please see the info flyer attached and make sure to register your kids using the link on the flyer ASAP so we know who will be joining us this season.
